For Queen and Country plot
Reuben returns to London after serving as a soldier in the British Army for nine years. His disappointment at the bourgeois life and the changes his old friends have undergone gradually grows into an all-encompassing doubt about the country he fought for, among other things in the invasion of the Falklands. Only Stacey, a single mother, seems to understand how the discarded and unemployed 'good-for-nothing' feels.
