Avalanche plot

"Hell hath no fury like Mother Nature scorned"

An explosion destroys an oil refinery near a small Alaskan town and sets off a snow avalanche. A group of skiers is killed. The refinery was rebuilt three years later. Lia Freeman, the lone survivor of the avalanche, has to give her blessing on the project as an environmental inspector. She discovers that the avalanche danger is greater than ever, but her warnings are ignored. With the help of a local pilot, a race against time begins to stop the avalanche that threatens the entire village.
