Mediocre film in which a theater producer thinks he can earn money if he stage a flop. A fun and original fact that is funny especially during the first half. The humor is a bit stale and the film as a whole has not quite stood the test of time. Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder do have a good time together. Just not 3.0 stars.

Good comedy, but I expected more from it. Working towards the play is actually only short, while I think some more fun moments could be taken out of it. Now there really isn't that much going on. The part where the piece is actually performed is ultimately the most fun and there are a few funny bits around it, but also enough that didn't do much for me.
