This witch film is directed by Paul Naschy in which he also plays the leading role, of course as the witch hunter where he can torture the beautiful women. Nudity is not avoided, but the torture remains reasonably limited. The fact that the witch hunter falls in love with a woman who just wants to take revenge on the inquisitor for what he did to her husband is an interesting idea. Decors and atmosphere are also plus points. 6.5/10
