"A fugitive exploding from prison! Hunted by killers! Led by the woman who wanted him...beaten, broken, or dead!"

Diego Callahan is a Civil War prisoner of war. When he escapes, he goes after the man who was guilty of his imprisonment. When he shoots a newlywed man on the way, his widow initially wants revenge, until she falls in love with him.
