I don't think Barbara Stanwyck and comedies are a happy combination. Despite her considerable acting talent, in my opinion she does not do her justice in comedies. That is no different in this predictable “comedy of errors”, which, by the way, only has something to do with Christmas. The film is not a total letdown, but it doesn't hold up despite the strong cast. What I liked most was Una O'Connor as the housekeeper.
