Marquis plot
"A brilliant film for revolutionary creatures"
Adaptation of the stories of the Marquis de Sade performed by actors wearing puppet masks. The Marquis is in prison for staining a crucifix. His one true faithful friend is his penis named Colin, who has a strong aversion to the Marquis' pornographic writings. With Colin, the Marquis discusses literary criticism, philosophy, moral issues and political matters. The explicit sexuality and perversion that emerge in the course of the stories make it clear why the name of Marquis de Sade is inextricably linked to a whole range of "perverted" sexual practices.
