Mediocre.

We're all familiar with the "Walking Dead" storyline by now. There isn't really much horror either, although I have to say that what there was looked pretty cool. There is a bit more emphasis on the drama aspect, but since the actors aren't all that great and it's all so clichéd, it never really comes across.

Visually a bit mixed. Sometimes beautiful, especially the lighting. Other shots, however, look a bit cheap, meaning it never fully convinces visually. The soundtrack is average but okay. Just within the standard genre clichés.

It is just a bit of a shame that this film doesn't do much to really bring something new or do something better. And with the focus on drama and the rather mediocre actors, this film never manages to rise above the average.

Decent filler, nothing more.

2.5*
