A 43-year-old housewife and mother who is about to divorce her husband, attends a school reunion where she suddenly faints. Then she goes back to the time when she was a schoolgirl, and this gives her the chance to change certain things in the past.

Watched this movie because of Jim Carrey's role, but 2 funny moments can't save a movie of course. The story itself is well thought out and the actors are not bad, but it all feels so fake. I mean, Turner and Cage aren't believable as teenagers at all, and in fact most of the cast is. Also the fact that Helen Hunt plays Turner's daughter is unbelievable, how much do they really care about age??

Somehow I thought I'd seen this movie a long time ago. But I think I'm confusing it with another movie. I wouldn't even know which movie. A woman goes back in time to find out if she still loves the man she wants to divorce. That is a very sweet thing. But surprisingly it was still a very pleasant film to watch. Nicely designed, well acted and especially in the beginning often with nice dialogues. The end is all well, as you see it coming a long time in advance, but go ahead ....

Reasonable film about a woman who wakes up in her teens at her school reunion. This film has a lot in common with Back to the Future, but the time travel element is only a means here and the film has nothing to do with science fiction. It's all entertaining, but also a bit on the brave side and nowhere really funny. A fine 60s decoration and a nice cast.
