"Something Very Hungry is About to Hatch!"
To write a story about the landing of a space shuttle, reporter Marci and her colleagues go to a deserted desert where they also investigate the existence of extraterrestrials believed to have landed here. When the space shuttle crashes, they enter the researchers' headquarters and discover something strange. An experiment gone wrong: a spider on board has been injected with alien DNA and it now roams free... and every time it kills, it gets bigger and hungrier.
