"On this earth, in this land, We are all here for a reason."
A slow-witted Bobby Platt escapes the hands of a hateful father after he kills all his pets. While escaping, he encounters an old man who buries animals that are victims of traffic along the highway. He befriends the man and gets a completely different view of nature. But then this experience is interrupted by his father who takes him back to his worst nightmare.
