Men Must Fight plot

During World War I, nurse Laura Mattson and wounded soldier Geoffrey Aiken fall for each other. Geoffrey soon succumbs to his injuries, but not without giving Laura a child. In the future of 1940, this son, Bob, is a grown man. Raised as a staunch pacifist by his mother, while his new father works for the US government. When the American ambassador to "Eurasia" is murdered and another World War breaks out, the family is horribly torn apart.
