The Mummy plot
When an Egyptologist in Mexico City unearths a mysterious figurine, he unwittingly unleashes the spirit of a bride who died centuries ago. The liberated spirit immediately attaches itself to his teenage daughter and awakens an ancient power that attracts the attention of a ruthless tech company determined to use it as a weapon.
