Le Combat d'Alice plot

Sixteen-year-old Alice is deeply affected by the death of her mother. At her grandparents' house in the countryside, she develops affection for a calf before realizing it is destined for the slaughterhouse. Unable to bear the thought, she throws herself wholeheartedly into the fight against animal cruelty.
