Letting Go of Jack plot
Brandon tries to escape his grief by driving from Southern California to Colorado to see a meteor shower. It's no easy task, however, with "Jack," an old Ford Bronco with many quirks, including overheating. When Jack runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere, a young artist named Amber offers to help if she can get a ride out of her small town. Later, they pick up Hughie, a Mormon missionary who leaves mid-mission to visit his dying father.
