Invention plot

After her father’s unexpected death, his daughter inherits the patent for a strange medical healing machine. The humming, buzzing device filled with glass tubes can reportedly be used to cure ailments with an exposure of 10 minutes at a time. Through the discovery of this invention and her encounters with the people who knew her father, she gradually comes to terms with her grief.
