That serial killer looks exactly like my manager. I'll ask him if he likes sailing too.
Otherwise, it's a cool film. The title and cover suggest a shark movie like Jaws, but the description already indicates it's about a serial killer. The premise is also well-conceived. It's not your average killer slaughtering teenagers at a camp in the woods somewhere.

Dangerous Animals was a bit of a disappointment for me. The synopsis doesn't quite live up to it. There's no ritual sacrifice involved, is there? It's just a psychopath feeding his victims to sharks for his (sexual?) thrill.The sharks don't appear on screen much either and seem to be a peripheral phenomenon. I certainly wouldn't immediately categorize this as a shark movie. Otherwise, it's entertaining and sufficiently suspenseful, although the saccharine endingwas a disappointment for me.

A thrilling, cleverly crafted thriller about a shark-obsessed serial killer. Jai Courtney is perfectly cast in the lead role, and he's given a commendable counterpoint by the beautiful Hassie Harrison, who, after her kidnapping, doesn't let herself be used as fish food. Well-made and atmospherically shot, with thankfully minimal use of CGI. A pleasant surprise in the genre.
