Hoe Liefde en Ik Bevriend Raakten plot

After 21-year-old Manu falls victim to anti-gay violence, he temporarily moves back to his father Otto. In this coming-of-age drama, a graduation film, Manu suffers from various flashbacks and gets into a tangle with himself. Because how does he maintain his receptiveness to love when he has to grow a thick skin at the same time? Because Otto, as a black man, knows what it is like to be discriminated against, he tries to help his son based on his own experiences.
