The documentary focuses on the toxic atmosphere in the team before they participated in the World Cup. Coach Jorge Vilda played the biggest part in this with his 'the door must not be locked and I can come in whenever I want' policy. 15 women refused to participate because they did not want to play football under Vilda anymore. After a lot of pressure, 8 of the 15 decided to participate. After winning the title, the president of the Spanish Football Association Luis Rubiales assaulted Jennifer Hermoso by kissing her full on the mouth. A good complete documentary about the events and clearly visible what this did to this group of courageous women. I found a small downside that the film started with the celebration of the victory and then showed fragments of the World Cup match by match, with a build-up of tension that was of course not exciting since we already know that they have won the title. A bit ironic is that you still see their current coach, Montserrat Tomé applauding that idiot, and she has not supported the players in their fight in any way. The Spanish team deserves better, they have one of the best teams (maybe the best) in the world.
