Gotteskinder plot

Teenager Hannah grew up in a strict religious family with her brother Timotheus. She is strongly involved in the free church and has even taken a vow of chastity, which forbids her to become intimate before marriage. However, things get complicated when she falls in love with the boy next door, Max. Meanwhile, Timotheus develops feelings for his best friend Jonas. He is convinced that his feelings for his friend are wrong and undergoes a so-called "counseling course" in the hope of being able to free himself from his "impure" thoughts. And so the values and expectations of the family increasingly clash with the feelings of the siblings.
