In writing and singing songs, Stien den Hollander found a way to express the serious psychological problems with which she has struggled since her teenage years. Her lyrics are often about that struggle and in this documentary we see that she also tells her audience about those feelings during her performances. S10 gave Linda Hakeboom and Rolf Hartogensis her trust and they certainly did not disappoint. It is an honest portrait of a young artist who has to battle her insecurities every day and is not afraid to lean on others, including her manager Froukje Bouma. Two key moments (the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 and a performance in AFS Live) are featured, but never distract from what the makers are actually concerned with: the person behind the artist. S10 is a courageous young woman who, despite her vulnerability, chooses to be vulnerable. Especially in retrospect, the title of this portrait is simply brilliant.
