The documentary 'Tiger' centers on Ambar, a young tigress who raises her cubs in the legendary forests of India. Although the cubs are curious, they also behave boisterously and sometimes a little clumsily. Clearly they have a lot to learn from their clever mother, who does everything she can to protect them from pythons, bears and predatory male tigers.

Less sugary than we are used to from Disneynature, both in terms of design and voice-over. This quickly develops into a compelling, beautifully filmed portrait of a family of tigers in the jungles of India. The camerawork is incredibly intimate; it is impossible not to empathize with the fate of the majestic animals, filmed over a period of no less than five years.
