Stine Olson graduated as an architect and keeps her head above water with a series of small assignments, until she happens to meet her childhood friend Jan and his brother Paul. They want to sell a house in the countryside that they inherited from their father, and Stine offers her services as an architect. However, the house hides a secret that turns everything upside down.
