American Aristocracy plot
Leander Hicks, 'king of the hatpin', hopes that his daughter will one day marry wealthy manufacturer Percy Horton, but Geraldine has other ideas about the man of her dreams. Out of boredom, she decides to kiss the first real man she meets. The chosen one is the athletic Cassius Lee, who is left astonished. However, the brief, unexpected encounter makes him curious and he decides to visit her house. Geraldine does not immediately take action, but when Cassius accidentally discovers Horton's shady dealings, her attitude changes.
