Several DEA agents are killed in a shootout with a cartel. Aging police detective Travis Johansen, whose violent methods have created serious PR problems, can save his job by going to Mexico. There he must pick up a female eyewitness and escort him to safety. Not only does Travis discover that his old beliefs are being challenged, but also that people on both sides of the border are now hunting him and his eyewitness.

Mediocre action thriller. The story is weak and very predictable. The effect is quite average and has few surprises. There is some tension and the film contains some action scenes that are not really spectacular. The pace is reasonable and the film is not boring, but halfway through the film does suffer a bit. The acting is passable and visually the film holds up. Not good, but there are plenty of worse B films. 2.5
