Genre "mystery"? I couldn't discover that.
So far I have little experience with the Polish film industry, or is this more of a Netflix thing. In any case, I was surprised by this film. Not only because of the plot and the actors, but also because of the soundtrack. In any case, it had all the ingredients for a good crime film. Up to and including the surprising ending; with still 20 minutes to go, the whole thing gets an extra twist. The feeling throughout the film that there is something deeper behind Monika's story turns out to be justified. Great movie.

More than a decent crime film in which a young police inspector searches for the killer of a number of grisly murders of young women. There is no pure search for a serial killer and the perpetrator soon comes into view. Drugs and scams are also discussed, which opens up the crime somewhat.
At times quite easy, a bit too simple how one runs from one conclusion to another. As if they have cut too much and do not realize that the editing was not always great. Some loose ends too. They try to add some character development to, for example, the inspector, but in the end very little happens.
But all in all, certainly entertaining and a film that never bores. Definitely worth picking up. The twist was also successful.

As AniSter also experienced, I also missed the mystery element.
But otherwise a good Polish crime thriller and at times quite hard and raw. I have already seen some Polish content, mainly through Netflix, not always good, but certainly improving over time in terms of level and also quite often with a rougher character. This film continues the latter and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
