Reasonable film in which Paris is startled when a dangerous shark suddenly swims through the Seine. A pretty typical shark movie. So it's all been seen before. Cliches are not avoided. Yet the film is not boring. There is enough pace and the action scenes under and above water are also excellent. A narrow 3.0 stars.

Fairly weak shark film, with a strong intro, a unexpected ending but everything in between was neither a mussel nor a shark. Between Jaws clichés, ecological messages, political incompetence and fiddling with technical gadgets, this is a variant that lacks tension completely and with a story that offers too little to fascinate. Forgot next week. I sometimes continue to wonder why those trashy shark films are still being made half a century after the unparalleled Jaws.

Personally, I have always enjoyed shark films, from Jaws, which I saw in the cinema in the seventies, to Bait of The Shallows and Deep Blue Sea.

However, I thought Shark in Venice was quite hopeless, but I must honestly say I really enjoyed Under Paris.

For me it was a cool movie, although I was annoyed by the stupidity of people, but that was probably in the script
