A film that is quite simple in concept and that is really made by the acting of Clooney and Pitt. There was little action in it but the chemistry between them makes it quite entertaining and delivers some comic moments. Certainly nothing special but certainly entertaining for an evening and cinematographically the film looks great. Fine.

Nice to see Clooney and Pitt together as two old hands again. That provides a pleasant Oceans chemistry in a crime comedy that otherwise does not excel in anything. Watches well without too high expectations, but I will probably have forgotten it by tomorrow.

A bit lame but quite nice, this sympathetic buddy movie about two professional problem solvers who are forced to work together. The relaxed chemistry between Clooney and Pitt must clearly pull the cart here, since the script is not particularly special. However, everything is just pleasant enough to remain captivating, partly thanks to the very atmospheric camera work. Especially a long foot chase through nighttime New York is particularly beautifully filmed.
