Director Matt Sampere not only takes charge of Creeping Death, but also plays the lead role himself. So you could argue that well-developed characters should emerge (since you're showing off your own face), but unfortunately that's not the case here. Instead, a rather over-the-top story with a lot of drama on the sidelines, which is never convincing due to the mediocre acting. The makers do have a good sense of atmosphere and come up with a solid idea, which certainly results in an entertaining spectacle towards the end. There's little wrong with the practical effects, but there is something wrong with their frequency. There's simply too little horror to be found in this film and too much nonsense, which causes the pace to become unbalanced and that manifests itself in a number of boring parts.
