Young racing driver Bettina Bang has an accident during a training session in Sicily, but is miraculously saved by an unknown passer-by. The man in question is world traveler and adventurer Harry Bredow, but before she regains consciousness he has already disappeared. She hopes to meet her lifesaver one day, a wish that comes true sooner than expected.
