"The Doktor is In...Sane!"

April Duval is just starting her new job at a nursing home. On her first day, the news is broken that one of the residents has died in the middle of the night after suffering a heart attack. While collecting his personal belongings, April and her colleagues discover a locker in the man's closet. Inside, they find a skull-faced doll dressed in medical clothes. Little do the group know that they have just unleashed a terrible evil upon themselves and the remaining inhabitants.

This spin-off from director Dave Parker is the shortest addition this drawn-out series has to offer, making it a bit easier to watch. Doctor Death is little more than a doll that had a brief scene somewhere in the previous parts and now apparently had to be launched, unfortunately his appearance is not very impressive. The special effects look barely thought through and the atmosphere is completely absent, but after a while the graphic murders follow each other quite nicely and look good. Certainly not one of the biggest mucks in this series, but nevertheless far from mediocrity.
