After defeating a giant gila monster, the equally-sized chimpanzee Abraham finds himself in a US facility. Recognizing the ape's destructive power, the military creates its own battle-ready robot, Mecha Ape. However, the first field test goes wrong, leaving the military with no choice but to release Abraham to stop the hulking robot before it destroys downtown Chicago.
