Rolling into Christmas plot

Deja skated on the roller rink while her mother, Celeste, taught the neighborhood kids for free. Deja's grandmother came to the rink to take Deja and her skating partner Ian home. Before they left, Ian asked Deja to date him, and Deja said yes. Later they write a wish to be together forever and burn it. Grandma receives a call that Celeste has died in an accident. Deja's father, Joe, will let Deja live with him in Germany...
