A successful Disney Horror.
Movie was better than expected, not that my expectations were very high.
Some minor jump scares.
Very good cast & good story.
Film is more funny than terrifying, so it is still ideal for the family.
2 hours looks nice & is just relaxation.
Ideal for an evening of fun cinema 
Hopefully the film will also attract some people to the cinemas

Haunted Mansion is a nice family (horror) film that never gets supernaturally good, but with a good dose of cynical humor and a nice story in a haunted house it is certainly watchable if you go with your kids. In addition, it also addresses topics (dealing with sadness and fears) that make it recognizable to people and, above all, human. If I had seen this earlier this would have been one of my favorites anyway. Of course the plot is wafer thin, the film is CGI heavy, the logic with the ghosts that follow people outside the house is not quite right and things are solved very easily, but I am not the specific target group for this film. However, the film was fifteen minutes too long for me. More could have been cut into it.
And with those glasses on I watch the movie. I can only conclude that this is a fun horror roller coaster ride for families who like to get spooky like the Griezelbus or Goosebumps.
