Fårö Dokument plot
Bergman interviews the inhabitants of Fårö in this film. Expressing personal and political solidarity with the fellow residents of his adoptive home, the island of Fårö in the Baltic Sea, this documentary explores the sometimes harmful effects of the modern world on traditional farming and fishing communities. Especially the young people express their doubts about staying in such a remote and quiet place.
