La Caída plot
Mariel is an Olympic diver. She won the bronze medal when she was fifteen and now almost a decade and a half later she is trying to return for her last chance at gold. Injuries and self-sabotage have plagued her career before, but now the rest of the world could fall with her if she gets a new partner, 14-year-old child prodigy Nadia. Mariel is furious because it is her last chance at the Olympics and her coach pairs her up with a child. Then her coach is suspended over allegations of sexual abuse. And the accusations come from none other than Nadia's mother.
