Ein Ganzes Leben plot
Over a span of eight decades in the twentieth century, Andreas Egger's life has been marked by poverty and war as well as love and joy. It makes him a humble man who is happy with the little things in life. At a young age he ends up with the farmer Kranzstocker. Growing up as a servant, he joins a group of workers as a young man in charge of the area's first funicular. When a tragic accident takes place, he meets Marie, the love of his life.
