Richelieu plot
After a difficult breakup, Ariane is in danger of financial ruin. Thanks to her mother, she finds work as a translator in a cannery. There she mediates between her arrogant boss Stephane and the Guatemalan temporary workers. To meet his demands, Ariane constantly pressures the underpaid workers and makes them work overtime in dire conditions. When she befriends some workers, Ariane begins to act against her superior.
