Indonesia Calling plot

The film is set in Sydney Harbor after World War II. Indian, Indian, Australian and Chinese dock workers blocking Dutch ships in the harbor are portrayed. Also known as the 'Black Armada', these ships were en route to the newly declared independent Republic of Indonesia, carrying weapons and ammunition intended to suppress the Indonesian independence movement.
