In the early 1980s, President Reagan launched a "war against crack" that was escalated by his successors Bush and Clinton. This documentary exposes the hypocrisy of this policy by examining the causes of the crack epidemic and tracing the flow of money. This revealing and compelling documentary also makes clear how the American police gained so much power and that the war on drugs was, in fact, a war against Black people in poor neighborhoods.
