A soldier named Markus is forced to return home to care for his teenage daughter when his wife is killed in a tragic train accident. Then a mathematician, who was also present on the train on the day in question, stands at the door with two colleagues. Birgitte Lind], who was killed in this collision. An unconventional mix of family drama, comedy and revenge thriller that works through the cast's superb acting and a series of clever story twists that you absolutely won't see coming. The best Jensen since Adam's Apples! Really the complete picture here. There is hardly anything to laugh about in the first half hour and further on the drama is not over, but in a good way. From the halfway point, however, also a few brilliant jokes and fantastic scenes of violence. All this graced with Christmas music at random times. 
Meanwhile, a few nice themes, such as the inextricable knot of causes that lead to an event, grief processing and troubled relationships. Of the actors, I was most impressed by Nicolaj Lie Kaas. His non-verbal performance is especially strong. Riders of justice is very mature, balanced but without sacrificing the well-known Anders Thomas Jensen ridicule. Wonderful movie.
