Castello Cavalcanti plot
Italy, September 1955. In a small village people are sitting on the terrace of a cafe. An engine in front of Formula 1 cars drives through a gate. They drive past the terrace when Jed Cavalcanti's car crashes into the back of the group and catches fire. He will get stuck in the village, but waiting for the bus he will be surprised.

In Anderson's typical style and in a short film like this, it fits better. And yet, the atmosphere is fine, but when the protagonist appears after about three minutes and starts telling stories, it quickly loses its appeal. Anderson is often visually captivating, but completely lacking in substance. The film also ends somewhat aimlessly. 2.5*.
