"Death imitates art"
A serial killer roamed Interstate 90 during the 1980s and 1990s in search of victims who he then brutally slaughtered with a remarkable aesthetic eye for the visceral and the distasteful. Years later, comic book artist Todd sets off on a road trip with his girlfriend and publishers in search of inspiration to bring his series about the same serial killer, dubbed "Slasherman," into beauty. But the killer turns out to be back with a string of murders that look suspiciously like Todd's drawings.
