Quite entertaining. You actually get what you would expect from such a simple action thriller. Some actors do well, others not so well. The action is not at all believable here and there and the story has little to do with it.

But because the pace is quite good and up to a certain height there is really a bit of tension, this half B movie is fine to do.

Although the amount of idiocy in the last part really pissed me off. From the bad guy who wants to put on his opponent's police suit for no reason, which makes it incredibly blatantly clear what will happen next, to the fact that the old German apparently thought it was a good idea to estimate around 200 million open and to hang on the wall naked with strangers. And then I'm not even talking about Uncle Agent the big cat lover in the hospital who grants stolen treasure without any problems. Now I think it's positive in itself that Force of Nature doesn't take itself too seriously, but come on.

Because of the latter companies I am actually inclined to note a half point deduction. But go ahead, because in the end I simply enjoyed myself for an hour and a half, I just keep it at a six.

Embarrassingly bad.

The story sucks - the big picture makes no sense, but the details also rattle. Terribly. Dialogues that make no sense, and suddenly degenerate into beatings - for no reason at all. Like a piece has been cut out. But still. Gibson who thinks he recognizes Hirsch - in uniform, and with a neat nameplate on it. Then come to his name, that's really a challenge.

It doesn't even look like anything in the action. The bad guys that seem to be inexhaustible - how they fit in that van is a mystery to me. Bosworth who is a sniper at first, but a little later when it comes down to it, of course, misses. And then the devil from the box - not satisfied with a washtub full of fresh food, of course.

Out of sheer interest how much worse it could get would watch to the bitter end. It doesn't get any better than that either. On the contrary, the ending is, if possible, even worse than the rest of the film. Embarrassing. Gibson must have been desperate for a job - and so was everyone else. You'd rather scrub the poo than show yourself in such a misfit like this. Sad - and also for Bosworth and Hirsch. You wonder how it could have come to this.

What a bad film again, fits perfectly in the list of rubbish (of old action heroes) that has been made lately where it is pretended to be a great film....!

First, the title "Force of Nature", with the story that a hurricane is coming.
This is immediately all that reflects this fact.
The only thing was that you heard a lot of wind in the distance and that it was raining very hard.
With this given I expect "Twister" like images!
If it were a bright day instead of a hurricane, the film would be exactly the same......

Also, this is not a movie with Mel Gibson, but a movie with Mel Gibson in it.
It takes a while before he finally comes into the picture and even faster he is shot and end of story. They shouldn't have done the close-up with the faces against each other when he collapsed, as he moves his eyelids and eyelashes several times, very bad

The acting performances were also really below par, with serious criminals, as the distance increases, with the thickest weapons just constantly missing, just like in the A-team. They stand in line but still "the good ones" can dodge the shots and dodge during a firefight.

The so-called great idea that the bearded man had a Cheetah or cougar at home and trained it for the beast to attack cops was really so bad. As if there was some kind of alien hiding in his house.
From the moment it was known what the .... would do, the end of the film was immediately known.

0.5 *
