A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby plot

"Baby Makes 3"

It's time to party again in Aldovia. A royal baby is on the way! It's not really fun, because when Amber and Richard invite their emissaries from a remote kingdom to renew the truce, the treaty suddenly turns out to be untraceable. The relationships are immediately sharpened.

So predictable

in this third part you know the characters by now. That gives a kind of confidentiality that is quite nice, you get used to it quickly. Not that the movie is good, but it looks pretty good. Only King Charming remains a bit of a boring turd and there is no chemistry to be discovered either. That whole story and that Asian royalty couple are also completely unnecessary. Furthermore, the same build-up where the final villain is not the one everyone wants to think it is. Too bad, because such a film doesn't need that at all. 2.0*.

The third and hopefully last part of this trilogy. This was also the shortest, lasting 84 minutes. The entire cast is back. Rose McIver and Ben Lamb would later reunite during The Princess Switch: Switched Again. In this film, their characters remain the same.

Although the first part was already quite thin, unlike these sequels, it still remains the best. The fact that the main protagonists keep returning makes it even more digestible to watch. For example, during a scene we see part of the cast in their younger years in the photos. A big flaw remains the role of John Guerrasio, who was cast completely wrong from the second part as the warm and caring father Rudy. In addition, the story again contains too much of the same, but this concept apparently still attracts many viewers. Regardless of whether it is milked out or not.

2.0 *
