Way Down plot
"No job is impossible."
Spain's central bank is like no other. An absolutely impenetrable bank that no one could ever rob. There are no blueprints, no maps, and no data on the vault's technical system. In addition, the head of security guards the bank as if his life depended on it. This challenge sparks the curiosity of Thom, a genius determined to learn the secrets of the vault and enter the bank. The target is a long-lost treasure kept in the bank for only ten days.

Exciting, beautifully presented and very entertaining thriller, stylishly directed by the Spanish horror expert Jaume Balaguero, who proves that he can also handle other genres well. Freddie Highmore is too lightweight and awkward in the lead role, but the rest of the cast is fine. The script is not equally credible everywhere and there are many unlikely moments, but everything is delivered with such dedication and class that it doesn't take much to get carried away in the story. It is a pity that in the final we have to be extensively reminded of the Dutch defeat against Spain in the 2010 World Cup.

Nice film in which a seemingly impenetrable vault is the target of a group of thieves. A pretty standard heist movie with some boring characters (the cast doesn't really improve on this either). The heist itself is worth it though, is well put together and still takes up a good part of the film.
