After a fall from the window, César [Patrick Bruel], on the advice of his best friend Arthur [Fabrice Luchini], goes to the hospital for a routine check-up. Since César does not have health insurance, Arthur uses his health card, but that means he is the first to hear the diagnosis. When it turns out that César is terminally ill, Arthur has to tell him, but due to a combination of circumstances, César thinks that Arthur himself is seriously ill and Arthur is unable to talk him out of it. There's nothing original about this predictable comedy of misunderstandings, but Luchini's sincere performance limits the malaise in space.

This was another beautiful movie. A story that has been told before, but I still thought this one was definitely worth watching. The cast was definitely a plus and came across as convinced. Their bucket list was also beautiful.

The longer playing time didn't bother either and didn't stand out either.

Don't really have any negatives with this one, worth seeing.

It's nice to really care about someone and to bear the pain.
Fabrice Luchini and Patrick Bruel play like a charm in this film that starts as a real, typical French comedy with a lot of nonchalance, crazy situations, misunderstandings and, above all, witty, humorous dialogues.
After that it remains funny but the tone becomes more serious with the inevitable drama.
The ending, not without emotion, brings some optimism and better prospects, so that we can say that comedy predominates in this "Le meilleur reste à venir".
Certainly enjoyable.
