Fahim plot
Forced to flee their native Bangladesh, young Fahim and his father leave the rest of the family and move to Paris. On arrival, they experience many difficulties when trying to obtain political asylum, with the threat of being expelled from the country at any time. Thanks to his chess talent, Fahim meets Sylvain, one of the best chess coaches in France.
