Meritorious thriller from the Belgian director Robin Pront, who certainly does not cut the wrong figure here with his only second film. The exciting plot, drenched with surprising twists and turns, deserves a bit longer running time, now certain storylines and characters come off poorly and here and there the pace is simply too high, but overall this is a pretty strong film, excellently played and with a lot of atmosphere. Annabelle Wallis is not everywhere as convincing as the sheriff, but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, on the other hand, plays a beautiful silent leading role.

Great crime thriller that keeps your attention until the end. Atmosphere and setting are fine and the acting is also good. The story is quite well put together and the alleged plot holes that are indicated by some users are still largely explainable. For example, it wouldn't be the first time a real-world law enforcement officer wants to protect a family member. The culprit doesn't really come out of the blue considering the vocal cord operations Also the fact of the symbol on the arrow is usually something typical with killers to leave something that relates to his actions. So logical to me. 7/10

Somewhat creditable, atmospheric thriller, which loses too much credibility here and there. It also never wants to be very exciting. The killer's motives and method also remain unexposed. What remains is an always enjoyable Coster-Waldau, a beautiful remote setting and here and there a number of original finds.

It's a bit messy, sometimes to deliberately mislead you. I didn't understand everything right away either. If I had seen it in 1x and paid close attention, I would have been able to remember certain details better. Because those are important. In the end I was able to read the synopsis that explains most of it:
