Western Arabs plot
Omar Shargawi wants to understand his father Munir better. In present-day Denmark, the aggressive nature of the Palestinian Munir is condemned. And although Omar's father has lived in Copenhagen for a long time and is married to a Danish woman, he is still not quite grounded in Danish society. Munir's traumatic experiences from the war have also been passed on to his sons. But Omar doesn't want to become like his father and, as the father of a daughter, is afraid to copy his father's behavior. For twelve years, Omar turned the camera on himself, his father, and his friends and family. Western Arabs is an investigation into Omar's difficult relationship with his father and the impact it has on his own identity, sparing no one.
